Job Description
A leading manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and specialty materials, serving industries such as automotive, electronics, construction, and industrial manufacturing across Asia-Pacific.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in Singapore and selected ASEAN markets for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and related solutions. The role requires a strong blend of technical sales, key account management, and new business development, particularly in industrial and OEM segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for adhesive tapes and specialty products in Singapore
- Identify and penetrate new business opportunities in:
- Automotive & transportation
- Electronics & electrical
- Construction & building materials
- General industrial manufacturing
- Manage and grow key accounts, including OEMs, converters, and distributors
- Provide solution-based selling, working closely with customers on product selection and application performance
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, technical service, operations) to deliver customized solutions
- Drive pricing strategy, negotiations, and contract management
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Build and manage channel partners/distributors in the region
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and management reports
- Support regional expansion initiatives across ASEAN markets where required

Requirements
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Business
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience in:
- Adhesive tapes / pressure-sensitive materials
- Specialty chemicals / coatings / converting industry
- Strong understanding of:
- Adhesive applications (bonding, masking, insulation, protection)
- Industrial customer requirements and processes
- Proven experience managing OEMs, distributors, and industrial accounts
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and win new business
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a lean team environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience with pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA) or tape converting processes
- Existing network in Singapore industries (electronics, automotive suppliers, construction)
- Exposure to regional (ASEAN) markets
- Experience working in MNC or regional manufacturing setup
